The creation of the FoRC was an initiative by USP researchers as pioneers in the conception of the first research center focused on food and nutrition in Brazil. Additionally, the FoRC explores the multidisciplinary character of nutrition and health, presenting different contextualization’s so that the various professional profiles can elaborate on the same theme.
Due to this enriching nature, the objectives of the FoRC are distributed through interactions with different communities, such as academia, professionals, government, the third sector, and society in general, promoting the dissemination of the knowledge generated for them and also transferring technology to perpetuate an ethical circle of incentives.
